THE END

I thought it might be interesting to create a ‘rock band’ around an acoustic guitar as the main rhythm instrument. I’m not sure I succeeded with this concept, all I know is that I got to cover a lot of slightly sardonic lyrical ground and playing and recording with Gregg and Jon was the most fun I have ever had in a band.

CAROUSEL

My goal was to stay away from sappy ‘politically correct’ ethics and the didactic songwriting so common with what I was hearing in children’s music. With the blend of my sister and my harmonies, Gregg’s percussion and again, my acoustic guitar taking the forefront my monstrous ego demands, I wanted to produce short songs that parents could enjoy while their children hopefully listened over and over again. You’ll find no purple dianousours here cobbling new lyrics onto old favorites.

Not a band per say, more a way of life.

Only joking.

Seriously, this is simply the ‘umbrella’ name for all my instrumental music.

Stuck in an unfulfilled 70’s legend-in-my-own mind, mind-set I tend to regard what I do more in terms of overall ‘concepts’ then just collections of songs. Though I am the songwriter of all the music here, I regard my ‘solo’ work as separate then what I do with THE END, CAROUSEL and even PASTICHE’.
